Orthopedics is a medical specialty that studies, prevents and treats diseases, deformities and injuries of the movement system. Today, orthopedics are primarily surgical surgeons due to active access to the operative approach in the treatment of many conditions. Orthopedics also involves caring for skeletal deformities with general care tasks for the disabled, and thus cooperates with other specialties, such as school and physical medicine, pediatrics, rheumatology, and neonatology.
